USA to conduct joint exercise with genocidal Air Force of Sri Lanka

The Pacific Air Command of the US Air Force will be conducting a joint air exercise with the Air Force of Sri Lanka, involving the bases at Ratmalana in Colombo and Ampaa’rai in the Eastern Province, media reports from Colombo said. Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Malaysian Air Force, and the Bangladesh Air Force also will participate in the exercise. The Air Force of Sri Lanka is accused of specific instances of war crimes against Eezham Tamils in the UN panel report. While talk of human rights and crimes against humanity is dubiously manipulated by some powers for their political benefits, their defence establishments and intelligence agencies are all out to promote militarism of genocidal Sri Lanka for their strategic benefits, political analysts in the island said.
The Pacific Airlift Rally, planned by the US Pacific Command in the island is partnered by 20 countries: Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, United States of America and Vietnam.
Obviously this is flexing muscle against China’s interests in the region.
Four of the countries in the partnership, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam are involved in a contention with China over the waters of South China Sea and they have approached the United States for security guarantees.
In the given scenario, the genocidal military of Sri Lanka enjoys the bargaining power with all the imperialists. All of them are prepared to ignore the genocide of Eezham Tamils by Sinhala militarism for getting this obnoxious military on their side.
The military in the island is groomed and strengthened even after declarations by all of them that the war with the LTTE in the island is over. They, particularly the US State Department should explain that in what way promoting an accused military in the island helps its post-war ‘reconciliation’ proclamations, ask Eezham Tamil political circles in the diaspora.
In the given context, Tamil Nadu politically and diplomatically exercising its geostrategic strength to check India joining the bandwagon of forging alliances over the genocide of Eezham Tamils could only thwart Sinhala militarism’s own plans in the island.
No solution to the plight of Eezham Tamils is possible with the genocidal military occupying their country in the island.
The SL military intensely building bases in points close to the Tamil Nadu coast will soon have an impact on Tamil Nadu. 30 new camps are planned in Jaffna peninsula alone, in addition to hundreds of existing bases, camps and China-built cantonments dotting the country of Eezham Tamils.
This week Sri Lanka’s Air Force acquired 14 Mi 171 military helicopters from Russia. Many wonder about their need in the claimed ‘post-war’ scenario.
Two weeks ago sections of Sri Lanka’s media made a controversy over US air force planes flying over the southern air space of Sri Lanka.
The news about Sri Lanka collaborating with the US Pacific Command in air exercises comes this week.
The defence establishment of Sri Lanka is entirely directed by presidential sibling Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. He believes in complete militarisation of state in the island, informed sources say.
The three brothers Mahinda Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa and Gotabhaya Rajapaksa are ‘specialised’ in individually handling China, India and the United States at the same time by ‘sharing’ work, informed sources further said.

8/18/2011 - JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii -- Pacific Airlift Rally 2011, co-hosted by the U.S. and the Sri Lanka Air Forces will take place at Ratmalana Airport in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Pacific Airlift Rally (PAR) is a biennial, military airlift symposium sponsored by U.S. Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) for states in the Asia-Pacific region. This year marks the eighth iteration of the PAR exercise series which began in 1997. PAR 11 will focus on enhancing airlift interoperability among 21 regional militaries in support of multilateral humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HA/DR) operations. Exercise-related events include informational seminars and expert briefings, a command post exercise that addresses military airlift support required during natural disasters, and a field training exercise that builds upon the command post exercise.

Tabletop exercise participants include: Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Maldives, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, United States and Vietnam. (Brunei's participation has not been confirmed.)

Field training exercise participation will include three United States Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft from the 374th Airlift Wing at Yokota Airlift Wing, Japan; and one C-130 each from the Royal Malaysian Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force and the Sri Lanka Air Force.

Pacific Air Lift Rally - 2011(PAR 11)

Sri Lanka Air Force held a press conference Friday (19th August 2011) at the Air Force Headquarters auditorium to announce the co-hosting of 'Pacific Airlift Rally 2011' with the Pacific Air Command of the United State Air Force.

The Pacific Airlift Rally is a biennial symposium/air exercise involving Pacific region nation air forces. The event is organized by the Pacific Air Force, which is the air component of the United States Pacific Command with a selected Air Force in the pacific region as a co-hosting nation. SLAF is the co-host of the Pacific Airlift Rally 2011 with the United States Pacific Air Force. This is the first time in the history of the Sri Lanka Air Force where it co-hosts an international event of such magnitude. The event is scheduled to be conducted from 22nd August 2011 to 26th August 2011.

Aim of the Pacific Airlift Rally is to enhance military airlift interoperability and to build partnerships between nations in the pacific region, with a focus on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.

Pacific Airlift Rally events include an international seminar, a Command Post Exercise (table top exercise) focusing on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief coordination between the multiple countries and a Field Training Exercise to carry out disaster relief, Para drop, Para troop, cargo drop and various other tactical flying relating to the command post exercise scenario utilizing C-130 Hercules Aircraft.

This type of combined multinational exercises is conducted world over in view of enhancing interaction with regional Air Forces and exposing them to international experience. Similarly, PAR 11 would be a golden opportunity for us as the SLAF and as a country to boost up competency of the operators as well as to build up mutual understanding between regional countries, in assessing the capability of handling such an eventuality.

This will be conducted as two individual exercises as Command Post Exercise (CPX) at SLAF Base Ratmalana and Field Training Exercise (FTX) at SLAF Ampara which will execute parallel to each other. In these exercises Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Tonga and Vietnam as well as the two co-hosts Sri Lanka and United States will participate.

The Air Force Spokesman Group Captain Andrew Wijesuriya welcomed the members of the media and then the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama the importance of hosting this event. This was followed by a presentation carried out by the Director Air Operation Air Vice Marshal Gagan Bulathsinhala. The main coordinator of the event Air Commodore Sumangala Dias, FTX coordinator Group Captain Nishantha Thilakasinghe and CPX coordinator Wing Commander Sarika Aranayaka were also present on the panel.

தமிழகத்தில் முத்தமிழ் உயிர்காக்கும் போராட்டத்தில் `இனமானத் தமிழ் சமரசவாதிகள்` ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர்.குறிப்பிட்ட ராஜீவ் வழக்கில் மட்டுமல்ல பொதுவாக இந்தியாவில் மரணதண்டை நீக்கப்படவேண்டுமென அவர்கள் பிரச்சாரம் செய்து வருகின்றனர்.ராஜீவ் படுகொலை காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் உள்முரண்பாட்டைப் பயன்படுத்தி சர்வதேசப் பின்னணியில் நடந்த சதி என்பது இவர்களின் மையமான வாதமாக உள்ளது.இதனால் அவ்வழக்கு முறையாக விசாரிக்கப்படவில்லையெனவும், இவ்வழக்கு விசாரணையில் பெறப்பட்ட சாட்சியங்கள் தடா சட்டத்தின் கீழ் சித்திரவதைகள் மூலம் பெறப்பட்டவை என்பதும் துணை வாதமாக அமைந்துள்ளது.ராஜீவ் கொலையில் விடுதலைப்புலிகளின் பாத்திரம் மெளனமாக மறைக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றது.

 

இந்திய இலங்கை ஒப்பந்தந்தத்தின் மேலாதிக்க நோக்கம், இந்திய ஆக்கிரமிப்புப் படையின் போர்க்குற்றங்கள் ராஜீவ் படுகொலைக்கான தூண்டுதலும் நியாயமுமாகும் என்பதை, இந்திய விஸ்தரிப்புவாதத்தின் ஆதரவு நிலைப்பட்ட சந்தர்ப்பவாதம் காரணமாக பேசத்தயங்கி தவிர்த்து வருகின்றனர்.தமிழ் நாடு சட்டமன்றத்தில் ராஜபக்சவை போர்க்குற்றவாளியாக இந்திய மைய அரசு அறிவிக்கவேண்டுமெனக் கோரிய தீர்மானத்தின் அடிப்படையில்

1) உலகத்தமிழினத்தின் தலைவி செல்வி. ஜெயலலிதாவென்றும்

2) தமிழ்நாடு சட்டசபை இந்தியாவிலேயே மிகக் கட்டுப்பாடான நிறுவனமென்றும்

3) ஜெயலலிதா ஆட்சியில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உறுதியான தலைமைத்துவம் நிலை நாட்டப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும் கூறி வருகின்றனர்.

 

இதனால் தமிழக முதல்வர் மூலம், மைய அரசுக்கு நிர்ப்பந்தம் கொடுக்கும் பாதையை கடைப்பிடிக்கின்றனர்.`மரண தண்டனை ஒழிப்போம்! மனிதநேயம் காப்போம்!` என்ற நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியின் முழக்கத்தின் கீழ் இவ் `இனமானத் தமிழ் சமரசவாதிகள்` ஒன்று திரண்டுள்ளனர்.இந்த ``மக்கள் இயக்கத்தின்``நோக்கமும் எல்லையும் மாநில அரசுக்கு அழுத்தம் கொடுப்பதாக மட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

1) இந்தியாவில் மரணதண்டனையை நீக்குதல்

2) தடா சட்டத்தின் கீழ், மல்லிகை மாடிச் சித்திரவதை மூலம் பதிவு செய்த பொய் வாக்குமூலங்களை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு ஏற்கெனவே 21ஆண்டுகள் கடூழியச்சிறைத்தண்டனையை அநுபவித்து முடித்துவிட்ட அரசியல் கைதிகளுக்கு நீதி கோருதல்

ஒரு அடிப்படை ஜனநாயக உரிமையைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கான போராட்டமாகும்.இதனால் இப்போராட்டத்தை நாம் ஆதரிக்க முடியும். இக்குறிப்பான கோரிக்கையில் ஒன்றிணைந்து அதன் வெற்றிக்காகப் போராடவும் வேண்டும்.

அதேவேளையில் இவ் ’இனமானத் தமிழ் சமரசவாதிகள்’ தமது வர்க்க இயல்பின் காரணமான அரசியல் சந்தர்ப்பவாதத்தின் விளைவாக தமக்குத் தாமே விதித்துள்ள கட்டுப்பாடுகள், மற்றும் மட்டுப்பாடுகளை ‘மக்கள் இயக்கத்தின் மீதும்’ விதிப்பர். தமது நலன்கள் அடையப்பட்டதும் மக்கள் இயக்கத்தின் முன்னேற்றத்துக்கு முட்டுகட்டைகள் போடுவர்.இதை மீறி இவர்கள் பின்னால் திரளும் ‘தம்பிமார்கள்’மக்கள் இயக்கத்தை தூண்டும் நடவடிக்கையாக தம்மை மாய்த்துக்கொண்டால் ‘தம்பிமார்களை’ அவசர அவசரமாகப் புதைக்கவும் தயங்க மாட்டார்கள் இச்சமரசவாதிகள்! தம்பிமார்கள் ‘தேர்தல் ஜனநாயக இளைஞர்கள்’ என்ற எல்லைக்குள் மட்டுமே ‘போராட’ அநுமதிக்கப்படுவர்!

இவ் ’இனமானத் தமிழ் சமரசவாதிகள்’ புலம்பெயர் ஈழத் தமிழ் மாணவர்களையும், இளைஞர்களையும் குறிவைத்து சீரழிக்கின்றனர்.ஏகாதிபத்திய தாசர்களும், இந்திய விஸ்தரிப்புவாதத்தின் ஆதரவாளர்களுமான இவர்கள் தமது யுத்ததந்திர திட்டத்தில் ஈழப்பிரச்சனைக்கு அளிக்கும் விளக்கத்தை புலம்பெயர் தமிழர் மத்தியில் அவர்களது ‘தமிழ்த் தேசிய ஊடகங்கள்’ மூலமும், முன்னணி அமைப்புக்கள் மூலமும் பரப்பி வருகின்றனர்.

இவற்றைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, புதிய ஈழப்புரட்சிகர, மக்கள் ஜனநாயக இளைஞர்கள் ‘விஸ்தரிப்புவாதம் ஒழிப்போம்! விடுதலைப் போராளிகளைக் காப்போம்!’என முழங்க வேண்டும்.

முத்தமிழ் உயிர்காக்கும் போராட்டத்தை, ஜெயலலிதா ஆட்சியைப் பலப்படுத்துவதற்காக அல்லாமல், இந்திய பாசிச மைய அரசை ஜனநாயகப்படுத்தும்,ஈழத்தமிழினத்தின், தமிழீழ தேசத்தின் சுயநிர்ணய உரிமையை வென்றெடுக்கும், போராட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக நடத்த வேண்டும்.
