Supermarket chain Tesco PLC (TSCO.LN) is set to slow store expansion in the U.K. under the strategic blueprint Chief Executive Philip Clarke is due to outline next week, the Financial Times reported on its website Thursday, citing four people familiar with the situation.
The company is expected to focus on smaller stores, reducing new large store openings and store extensions, the FT reported the people as saying.
